Old West meets New West in Laramie, Wyoming, host of the 2008
SWUG Conference. At 7200', the high plains of the Laramie Basin
provide the perfect venue for a little "High Plains GIS" and a
whooping-good ol' "Geospatial Round-Up". The conference will be held at the
Hilton Garden Inn and
University of Wyoming
Conference Center, located to the southeast of the University of
Wyoming campus. Part of the new UW Plaza,
both facilities opened in February 2008. Laid back and vibrant at the same time, Laramie has much to
offer the visitor arriving for business or pleasure (or a little bit
of both with SWUG 2008). Check out the following links for in-town
